I found a predominant Clan to accociate myself with!

Turns out, long ago, the scots did dominate (like they like to) a portion of (deep breath): My great-great-grandmother's side of my family. (pant)

This may seem small, but some ethnicities, like Italian, for example, have a 1%=100% philosophy (I defineately take this with my other dominant nationalities). So, why not scottish? (making me 100% Italian, 100% Swedish, 100% German, and 100% Scottish for a grand total of 400%! )

What clan? What clan? Drumroll please...
    [barrrumparumparump]

    Crawfurd! I'm 100(/about 2^5or6)% Crawfurd.

I'm not exactly sure where it comes from, but I've always been interested in geneology, so I'm sure I'll be able to track him down.

And, the next kilt on my wish list is in Crawford.

    Hear! Hear!

My great-grandmother was a Blair and one of these days I am so going to to get a kilt in the Blair tartan. It also helps that I was close to her.

    Congratulations.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Crawford is an armigerous clan, as is mine. I do wish you luck.

Good luck on your quest for info. I just recently found out that my maternal grandmother's (deceased long ago and I never met her) maiden name, Bremner, was Scottish, not German like the entire rest of my family. But that makes me 25% Scottish, or 100% Scottish by your rules. Good enough for me. And now I have to start a quest of my own with very little info.

    armigerous clan,

    uhhhhh ohhhhhhh

I am passing afeared to ask what an "armigerous clan," might be?

    Willing to donate arms?

    Overly affectionate?

They have to swim up-stream to breed?

    Please enlighten us
