I've a black GI pistol belt that I wear casually. (As well as a black Mini-pistol belt that I wear with my khaki UK original.) Of course I make use of there original intent: hangint things from them. Cell phone, mini-mag lite, cigar lighter, keys, etc. Then I've plenty of room in my standard-sized (small, aren't they?) sporran.

I do have a green '58 pattern belt and also a nice black leather belt I bought from Union Kilts, when I get home tommorow night I'll take a couple of pics with them on. Not with that kilt tho as it has been cleaned and I'm keeping it so for my trip to Cyprus

Ditto! But feel free to experiment - that's one of the great things about kilting. And remember, there are no Kilt Police!

I was inspired by this thread today. I wore my black Amerkilt, grey shirt, white hose, Nightstalker flashes, and black boots to work. I looked pretty well turned out, if I do say so myself.

I think you look great. Personally I like the belt and the boots.
The only thing missing... is a smile.

Totally agree, I think they would look much better just scrunched down.
Frankly, I like the belt, adds a little flash...

Sorry Unkilted Heathen, I need to hyjack the thread a bit.
Gents, I neeed to ask I am golfing the summer in a fundraiser , I'm going to bein a Kilt of course or I would not ask here. But I do not want to die in the heat. Socks and garters neede, or can I go more low socks adn my spikes.
I did ths a few years ago and caught a bit of flack for wearing sandles to the even in a kilt and wearing no long socks in my spikes what's your thought here?
My feeling is deep hot summer I can dump the long socks and go wiht it.
