I've tried a couple of things that work pretty well. I had some cotton kilt hose from Hamilton Dry Goods and I wore a thin, nylon foot sock under them. The other was wearing the 70% wool and 30% nylon Pipers Hose. Personally, I think the Pipers Hose were the best option for looks and comfort in the Georgia summers. Not that my feet didn't sweat either way but they felt cooler with the wool/nylon sock.
