Check out our T-Shirts we're making
Last year at the Phoenix highland games, we had a picture taken with six of us, and while we were designing our 10 year anniversary pub crawl t-shirt one of our members modified the photos, and came up with this idea. I thought it was pretty cool, and just wanted to share.
This first picture with the white background was the first modification to the original.

However we wanted to put it on a black t-shirt so we flipped it and made it negative so that it would look like this instead.

The back of the t-shirt will look like this, except it'll be reverse colors, and our logo will be in black and white also.

I'm all the way on the right in this picture. And as simplistic as it is, I really like this photo. It almost looks like we should be on the cover of some hardcore Irish punk band album.
Do you like the white background or the black background more? I can't make up my mind on that. We're getting them made with a black background, but I think the white would probably look good too.
Anyways, I just wanted to share this with all of you, because I thought it was pretty cool.

I like the white background much more, you can really tell you are kilted, the individual tartans can be seen much clearer, and your faces are more visible.

Definitely white! - or use the black lettering and detail on a colored shirt (gray?)
The details all get washed out in the black

I much prefer the white background for the reasons stated above. You can still have the white background on a black shirt. All you have to do is make the white background a large square on a black shirt (with the writing and picture cut out of that). The silk screener would use a lot of white ink but no black.

I prefer the white background.
Here's a variation=Use a white base shirt, put the first logo on the front, and put the second logo on the back of the shirt (reversed) with your text. May cause people to stop and stare.

I think I like the white background more also, however the black is the one that is being made. I might have to go and make a white shirt afterwards.

i think the white background looks best too. I'm not fond of white shirts though. I'd have to agree with the poster above who thought doing the black print on a grey shirt might look best. Or even something like black on green, or black on red.
