It's great to hear from someone from the other side of the pond. I haven't been on X that long, but one of the things that impressed me the most was the fact that it is absolutely international. I myself have just recently discovered my Scottish roots, having thought for the first 58 years of my life that my ancestors were 100% German, only to find that my paternal grandmother (from Nova Scotia, CA) was decended from a people who came over from Scotland around 1730. That makes me 25% scot and now I'm interested in digging into the past. Anyway glad to hear from you.
