Where you live is still on my list of places I've got to see before I check out. In 1979 I hiked down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and spent a couple of nights down there before hiking back out (Not sure if you're still allowed to do that). Met some fantastic people while at the half-way campground and spend some memorable nights in Flagstaff and Pheonix later as a result. The scenery is stunningly unique and I was blown away then but there is still so much more to see and experience it seems. I did promise myself I'd go back at the time but it's suddenly 30 years later and I still haven't managed it. Mind I had responsibilities only to myself then. I keep buying lottery tickets in the hope I'll win myself some slack cash and some free time but no luck yet. Maybe one day eh?
