    The funeral director should be able to provide all the information required re: Veterans benefits.

    Have her contact VA for any and all benefits from funeral help, burial rights and such. If he retired she could be entitled to survivor benifits if they were still married

    You should also visit your local American Legion or Veterans of Foreign Wars post.

    Even if he was not a member the folks there can and will help.

    And if asked will usually provide an Honor Guard and assist with the funeral itself.
