					Great looking kilt!
As to your question I find it rather difficult to get in and out of a car/truck with a traditional chain or leather sporran belt. I, personally, use sporran hangers and find them much more friendly in regards to sitting down and standing up.

Congratulations on the kilt. I don't seem to have a problem with a sporran when getting into an automobile, but I don't drive.

I like your style. How you look in the photo above is more or less how I look most of the time that I'm in a traditional tartan kilt.

Practice. I have found that getting in the car works better when the sweep, swing of the hips, and sitting happens all in one smooth motion.

Other than that, I just take my hand and put it on my sporran as I'm exiting a vehicle. I don't know what you're having a problem with when exiting a car, but for me, I was at risk of flashing the general public. Using my hand on the sporran, I was able to keep what is left of my modesty.

How very true! I almost forgot about that most important factor. One motion, as smooth as possible.

Very nicely done sir. As for entering / exiting the vehicle I have more trouble with the pleats than the sporran. The sporran just follows you along for the most part. Practice getting into and out of the vehicle safely away from the chance of flashing anyone for a few tries before attempting it on the town square!
