McMurdo coming to Franklin NC

I can't make it that far west during the week, but I'll definitely be at Loch Norman. Have a safe trip!

Well I like long drives I've rode my motorcycle to Daytona Beach before and Washington D.C. so this is easy.

In the mid '60's my father-in-law and some of his amigos raced their cars from Washington, DC to Daytona Beach. The winning time was just a bit over 8 hours.
I hope you're more cautious than they were!

One of my brother's friends once rode his motorcycle from here in Marion, NC to Key West, FL, drank a Pepsi, and rode back, all in one day. Mapquest says that 15 hours and 33 minutes, so I guess, technically speaking, it was spread over two days.

McMurdo- There is a slim chance that I can make it. I am out of state now, will return to Georgia about the 14th, and I have to go to Franklin ASAP, so it will be a close hit or miss. I will stay tuned on this one.
