Hi Bricekolob,
A good, understated and professional look. All the blacks work well together as a backdrop for the kilt, but the whole ensemble doesn't scream 'Look at me!' Its more of a 'This is who I am and this is what I do'. I think the look works for you very well.

That is what I go for. I know it is not the most 'traditional' way, especially since I don't wear a kilt pin. However, I prefer to dress in a way that is less noticeable. In fact I just bought a leather sporran strap so I don't have to wear the chain.
