XMark tartan kilt
What should I find in my email but a note from the Canadian Post. It seems that one Curmudgeon has shipped the fruit of his labor. My wife is more excited than I...NOT!!!
Hello Mrs. Jones. Now Big Mikey should be getting closer with his jones. Thanks, Steve.

Wow... a shared sense of "jonesing" here if for no other reason than to want to see the pics!

Big Mikey in a new xmarksthescot.com tartan kilt?? Now I am jonesing on his behalf.
And Rob, remember the rules, the kilt does not exist until we have photographic evidence. Something in the quantum level of tartan quarks causes a kilt to cease existence between the manufacture of it and the first wearing in front of a camera. (I think that was the problem with the Emperors finest kilt!)
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Is that what happened to the one list member that used the tracking info to find the empty box? It never came back into existence? (And I don't think he posted an update to that story yet.)

Why is it that I get excited even when I'm not the one getting a new kilt?

Just got off the phone with the Wizard. We got all the details worked out for my kilt and it should be ready for the Victoria Highland Games on May 16, which is also my birthday!! Now that's gonna be some weekend!

I came home from the lake on Sunday and there on the table was mail from some foreign country. After reviewing the coffee stains I was able to ascertain that the elusive XMark Freedom Kilt was in the box. A thing of beauty and it even has a secret coffee cup embroidery inside the apron.....Mrs. Rob is quite impressed. Pictures will come when it is deemed appropriate to increase the jonesing of a certain individual of substance who can not be named. Thanks so much, Steve.
