Oh my gosh! I really am quite thick sometimes!
Barb T. I just noticed you're a co-author with Ms. Stuehmeyer. Thank you so much for your reply, I'm so pleased you'd take the time. You, or your friend, are exactly what I'm looking for, talented seamstresses with kilt expertice.
And BTW, I just love your last name, very Tolkienesque.

Barb, can you tell me how I could contact Ms. Stuehmeyer? I live just a few miles north of Petaluma and have a custom tartan I would like made into a kilt.
I purchased a copy of your excellent book, but I obviously don't consider myself qualified to make a kilt myself - especially with a custom tartan. I would really prefer to have a kilt professionally made.
Thanks!
p.s. I'm also a fellow rock-head (geologist)
