How can anyone say Star Trek is real...The force is very real, and who doesn't believe that little green furry beings go round swinging light sabre.

For me...its Star Wars every time. I used to love the old Star Trek series with William Shatner, but Star Wars are far better movies...I think.

Which reminds me - I must buy a mini light sabre for my sporran!

Funny video though, there is one out there that combines Star Wars with Pulp Fiction, search youtube for it.

    The determining factor

I saw the new Star Trek movie last night. I won't spoil it for those who plan to see it.

I will say, however, that the special effects credits included a rather large mention of a company called Industrial Light and Magic, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lucasfilm.

Industrial Light and Magic also worked on Star Trek II, III, IV, VI, VII, and VIII (not sure about V, IX, and X). ILM is a special effects company, and they're good at what they do.

I like both Trek and Wars, but there can be no question in my mind about which is better.

The new Star Trek movie is better than the three most recent Star Wars movies put together. (Admittedly, Trek had been pretty lame for the last decade.)

I agree; the two Skywalker men are, and always were, pathetic whiners.

The audience for the 6:30 pm Friday Star Trek showing must have had an average age of about 45. A very appreciative audience.

BP - good video. Thanks for posting.
