I was married to "flat and boring" for 20 years...don't think I wanna go back there....giggle....snort, chuckle, hoot....
And Atlanta, the red dot is one of those aircraft warning deals. Its hanging from a line across the Colorado River that is called "Mile Zero."
River miles are measured upstream and downstream from that point. Sort of like a survey marker. They also measure river flow there to determine which states get how much of the water downstream. Kind of a mix of scientific and political - Western water rights stuff.
The guy did frame a beautiful pic...and in fairness I did have a long lens on so maybe if he backed up to include the kilt he'd have backed off the dock into the river himself.
But do notice most strangers, even some friends, taking pics don't understand how important getting the full kilt into the shot is....
Just a bit disappointing to discover the lack of kilt in what I'd hoped was a great shot.
