			Opinions, please

OK-so I'd like your opinions on the kilt belt and the vest. I bought both of them today, tags still on, still have receipts if I need to return them (I see the kilt is out of kilter, I am alone watching kids, had to set the camera timer, in a rush so I could the kids to bed etc etc)--EDIT: I'm not concerend some much about the overall look, I would like to know if the waiscoat and belt should be 'keepers'
The waistcoat came from Target, it's cotton with herringbone pattern, $25
The belt was $7 at Walmart, from the women's accesory dept-I got the idea to check there from another xmarker whose wife got him one
 in the ladies dept.

I like them both, but not together. The vest hides the belt. I really like the vest with the polo shirt, however. --dbh
When given a choice, most people will choose.

The waistcoat looks like it is getting caught up with the sporran a bit, I agree with piperdbh, a good rule is if you are wearing a belt no waistcoat and vice versa.

I think the belt distracts from your sporran. The vest looks fine. As you said not with the kilt you show.

I had to 'fold' the bottom of the waistcoat under in order to show the sporran.

I just wonder if the belt and waistcoat are 'keepers'?

The waistcoat is a Target waistcoat, cotton with herringbone pattern, $25.
The belt is off the women's rack at Walmart-$7. I got the idea from another Xmarker whose wife bought him a woman's belt.

For $32 I'd keep 'em both and wear 'em... but not at the same time.

I agree! Keep them both. Wear them separately! Good fine!

			Belt and Vest

The vest is fine, but may need some alteration to sweep away from the sporran. The belt on the other hand, .....doesn't seem to mesh with the sporran, (which I really like.) I'd take the belt back and get something simpler that doesn't compete with the sporran.Just MHO.

I like the vest, but agree you should probably alter it more permanently. Looks to be slightly bulging.
The belt is nice, but I agree, doesn't seem to quite work with that wonderful sporran.
