I know a kiltmaker, Cathy McWilliams here in Washington that does repairs and alterations at the games. I had her move some buckles for me. She asked if I had something else to where, as I was wearing the kilt requiring the move. Luckily I did, because she had an Instakilt I could use if I needed. For any who know here she is an absolute hoot! I know she uses it as a joke, but it was pretty smart of her to offer something like it. Here is an interview from a few years ago, it is worth a read.

Well I've seen a guy walking around Gretna Gateway Shopping Mall wearing an Instakilt.

I know someone who has one. Fortunately, I've never seen it on him...

Whoa,...Instakilt sightings are rare. According to the eminent researcher, Dr. F.A.T. Chance, a person has a better chance of seeing Big Foot than they do of seeing someone in an Instakilt.

You'll see our wee plaid mini cooper making the pilgrimage up to Grandfather Mountain in a couple of weeks.

Aye, that looks like the irish national kilt from SMK. Although I did laugh about the "kilt" going to half-calf, I must say if someone is willing to wear one of those, good for them, and it makes it easier for us as a whole. I'm still trying to get my wife to go out in public with me wearing my kilt. After a little Jameson I'm ready to go, though, lol.

Or maybe he just didn't have any taste.
