Should I wear my kilt to a baseball game???

					Hey guys,
 Need some advice....

So I decided that when I got off work tomorrow(Thursday June 4) that I would don my kilt and not wear pants for the next three days in honor of the Greenville Scottish Games saturday...Well my girlfriend got us some tickets to the Greenville Drive game tomorrow night as a surprise, so that I can see the future of my beloved Red Sox, and I'm torn between wearing my kilt to the game or not...What do y'all think?

Two reasons why I do not want to now...

 1. It's dollar beer night and I don't want to get food/beer on the kilt since I'm wearing it all weekend.

 2. The seats are not the most spacious seats in the world, would a kilt be comfortable in those plastic stadium seats?

Just give me some reasons why I should go kilted to put my mind at ease!

Do you normally spill beer all over yourself when wearing anything else? If so well then you have more problems than what to wear. I always find it funny when people use this as a reason not to go kilted, as if they are spilling food and beverage at every meal.

I have worn a kilt to a Toronto FC game and a Toronto Maple Leaf game, both were fine you just need to careful when sitting down.

					Go for it!
I wore my kilt to the Sox-Jays series in Toronto last summer and it was great. As for the beer, a couple strong sips when you get them will make it much less likely to spill. On the seats problem, I didn't find it to be a hassle at all. Just make sure not to go regimental or the folks in the rows in front of you might get an eyeful if you're not dilligent with keeping the apron down.

I've been to three Savannah Sand Gnats games kilted so far this season. The one time I didn't wear a kilt the ticket taker and two of the security officers asked me where my kilt was?

You make a valid point! I'm just one of those people that when he's a dressed up and trying his best not to get messy I always end up getting something on my clothes, just clumsy I guess! But I mean you still make a good point, and you're putting my mind more at ease.

Why not kilted? Being kilted at a sporting event is natural. Be as careful with food and drink as you are with your other clothes and the seats are no big deal. Sit back and enjoy. I've worn a kilt to several Rockies games and it was fun. Nulty
