My daughter graduates from High School on Saturday, so maybe I will hit the festival on Sunday Morning (God forgive me) and beat the heat. Will bring my canine son Sammy - Laird of the Westies, so he can stand head and shoulders above the other Westies. (he's a biggun, but not a fattun)
Hope I see some of you.

I normally wear plain colored t-shirts, but to maximize visibility tomorrow I shall be wearing this one:

So, if you see someone wearing it around tomorrow, there's a reasonably good chance it's me. If not, well....
(Acknowledgment: the picture's not mine. I nicked it off of someone's Flickr account.)

Did anyone here see Chad Granderson(?) setting all the toss records in the athletic events? I saw him break the two hammer field records and it sounded as if they were not his first two of the day. 133 ft. on the 16 lb. hammer and 103 on the heavy hammer. It was pretty impressive.
Sorry I didn't get to see people out there. I was trying to think of something to use to set myself apart as an X-marker but didn't have anything. Hope everyone had fun.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

There was a group shot?
Unlike last year's games, I actually did (eventually) meet some Xmarkers this time: Wolfhawk, kscaddo, and medic78. I was looking for McMathTX and Jack Daw as well, but I don't think I saw them. Unfortunately, the fact that attworth would be wearing a Seaforth kilt somehow escaped me. I saw a Mackenzie kilt pleated to the white stripe shortly before I headed out. It caught my fancy, especially as I had seen so few kilts pleated to the stripe that day, and I almost said something to its wearer, but then thought better of it.
I took quite a few pictures, but not nearly as many as last year, partly because the battery gave out. I'll be posting them today or tomorrow or, if not, Saturday or next week. (I'm going to be at Scout Camp at Possum Kingdom Lake from Wednesday to Friday.)

I didn't see it happen, but I recall hearing a roar from the audience around the north athletic field while I was hanging out at the Stewart tent. I imagine that's what caused it.
