I don't want to hijack this thread, but I'm just curious. You say your Scott Green modern tartan had to be woven for your order. You also say that it took about 4 weeks to get your kilt from the time you placed the order.
I just wonder about this because Scott Green modern is one of those tartans that is stocked by just about all of the tartan mills. It should be just as easy to get as any other tartan.
And even if it were custom woven, I don't see the kiltmaker getting the cloth in time to deliver the kilt in under 4 weeks. I'm familiar with how long it takes to get custom runs of cloth done by most of the major tartan mills, and it's much longer than that.
So I'm just slightly confused, but when I hear things like this it usually sends up red flags.
