A comment about Lis Doon Varna Irish Pub: This is the real deal pub. It's not a sports bar with shamrocks and green paint. It was designed in Ireland, has Irish investors, contains the parts of two dismantled pubs in Ireland and a church, it was constructed by Irish workers brought to the U.S. to put it together, and there are no TV's. It's a sister city project between the City of Peoria and their sister city in Ireland. This was encouraged by the former mayor of Peoria, John Keegan, who's a friend of mine.
