    Talking It's here, it's here!

My very first kilt - a USAKilts casual in MacLeod Hunting. Thanks to everyone for the advice.

It arrived sooner than I expected, and everything looks good so far. The sporran didn't come with a chain, but I called Rocky and he's dropping one in the mail.

Everyone always wants pics, so here you go (minus the sporran; see above):

Color's not the greatest because I shot it myself. I got a pair of Bottle Green hose which is what I'm wearing in the picture, and a pair of navy so I can play around with the color combos. Thanks, McMurdo, for suggesting the red flashes. I think they did the trick.

I think it looks great congratulations, until the sporran chain shows up why not go to your local Target or Wal-Mart or what have you and pick up a thin woman's belt, and use that as a sporran strap. In fact many of us prefer a leather sporran strap to a chain as a strap will not damage the kilt the way a chain can.

    Well...Im jealous.
While I was out of town...my wife called and said "You have 3 packages" so I was excited thinking that my kilt had arrived.
When i got home...it was a T-shirt from Poker Stars, a Highlander shirt and my sporran that I purchased off this site.
Now...those are 3 pretty cool things.... but a kilt, it aint.
It's only been 2 weeks so I wasn't really expecting it to be here by now anyways.

So are you going to order another?

Congratulation, you look grand. You have just started down a long slippery but very enjoyable slope into kilt addiction.

    Congratulations.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
