Best pubs in Britain...

Well, theres a thing! Somehow,after a fairly long and eventful life, I find that I have been to most of the pubs on that list!

The Mitre
The Black Swan

I can't believe they only managed to find one pub in Edinburgh - and on Nicolson Street of all places at that!

I have a list for Belfast:
-Kelly's Cellars
-Madden's
-The Duke of York
-The Botanical
-White's Tavern
-The Blackstaff
-The Fort

Good call.
-Kelly's Cellars - Best Guinness pub in Belfast bar none. You'll need to get directions though, it is tucked away in a side street.

-The Botanical
The "Bot", the "other" student's union, great place to watch rugby. They often serve "real ale" too (which means, for our brothers across the pond, it is a "microbrewery" beer that smells of flatulence. If you can get past the smell, it tastes good. Bit like blue cheese in that way...).

Don't forget the Crown, one of the prettiest pubs in Belfast, and it still has snugs too!

In Donegal, on the Inishowen:
The Drunken Duck in Carastrowna, Greencastle.
The Quiet Lady in Carndonagh
Both have wonderful food, beverage, and great Craic.

Yeah, the Crown is pretty, but I wasn't all that impressed with it as a bar. Definitely worth stopping in and taking photos though!
