After 2 days it wa spretty clear to my wife and I that 10 years, a bunch of annoying road constructions and the locust like swan of Gold brother's shop could not kill the charm of Edinburgh for either of us. It was pretty fun to take a walking tour and know more about the city, the kilt, and Scottish culture than our tour guide. But hey, she was from Calgary and only interested in the drinking spots (been there....done that!).

Not a bad view to enjoy while having a sandwich and coffee mid day.

and of course I had to have a proper haggis dinner while in Scotland. Luckily Weatherspoons had haggis supper on the menu, and an international beer festival on at the time

and yes, I went to Scotland and got a flippin' sunburn. I have heard that's as rare as finding a golden haggis in the wild.

Hopefully it's less than 10 years before we can go back again.
