    when i first saw it i wasn't too sure what to make of it then when thinking about kilt pins i had to remind myself i own a dead grouses foot for a kilt pin so i guess the old saying "anything goes" is true

    That is great.

    I just did a school field trip where I was up to my elbows in Owl vomit (pellets). Every pellet (think bone filled hairball) contained at least one mouse skull. So many ideas, so many ideas.

    Pardon my ignorance, but what material is it cast in? It looks like plaster, but it seems to me that plaster would be too heavy and brittle for a kilt pin.

    It's cast in polyurethane, a durable plastic. Most of your collection of screwdrivers have polyurethane handles.
