Got mine out 30 years ago and remember it like it was yesterday. First one under Nitrous Oxide anesthesia, when I came this close to meeting God before they woke me up. Second set of three under heavy Valium and opiates left me drunk feeling for a whole weekend.

Since you are going to be under anesthesia anyway why worry about the dentist doing a kilt check---you wouldn't know it anyway.

Plan for lots of cold soft or liquid things (beer counts) available for the first few days as you will not feel like chewing anything firmer than jello. And have a couple old style ice bags available to help ease the pain and swelling around the corners of your jaws---those refreezable gel packs just do not do the job.

Have fun and good luck. Don't worry, you won't lose any wisdom just becasue they are taking out your wisdom teeth----that is just an old wives tale.
