Aesthetics for "Semi-Formal" Dance

I can not speak to the quality of the product, but I don't care for the cut of the lapels on the HoS jacket, and that my be due to the angle of the photograph. Generally the problem with "the latest fashion" is that it very quickly goes out of fashion!

I'd follow the advice of those who have suggested opting for a more traditional jacket and waistcoat-- and then dressing like the other guys headed off to the dance.
