    Belated Blairsville Pictures

It took long enough for me to get these uploaded, but better late than never.

First off, they took their security seriously at Blairsville:

But they had a sense of humor as well:

No good pictures of the Border Collies in action, but they weren't the best trained that I've seen.
Unfortunately, I don't have any good action pics of the Gordon Setter, and he was the best that I've seen.

    Vendors

The vendors were the usual, for the most part, so I didn't take that many pictures of them.
There was a seller of nicely carved walking sticks, but when I tried their website it led to nowhere. If it had worked, I would have posted those pictures.

These folks must have known that I was coming:

As silly as I usually find kilts and jackets on dogs, these were well-made, particularly the stable-blanket style above. The leashes and collars showed good construction as well. If anyone is interested, their website is http://www.theheelanhound.com/index.html, and the prices are about half if you send them the material.

    Clan tents

Just a couple of pictures here -

Can anyone spot something a little odd about this fellow's kilt?

Despite this "kilt don't", I understand that he came in second in the Boniest Knees contest (the winner was from the same clan).

And of the various games I've been too, this is only the second that has had a Robertson tent (in the background, behind the well-dressed scout)

I can't argue with that, not one bit.
