WOODEN SPOOLS - WOW - I haven't seen wooden spools in years. You can post pictures of them any time. Any chance of a shot, dare I say, from the back?

    Regards (living in hopes)

No, no other shots. It's just something I found doing an image search for "interesting thread."

People we've strayed again! It appears that only Sydnie7 is reminiscing of my flowing golden locks and taut, firm buttocks as described in detail by Jamie in his Victorian serial:

"PANACHE AND THE SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT GIN & TONIC - Pithed Again!"

Might I remind all that I am not Scottish. I've said it before and I say it again. The only Scottish blood in my family is the dried stuff on the ancestral sword.

Now back to how great I am.

    Golden lochs?!

Then we can add to your list of heinous crimes:

    ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION?!

Is there no end to your wickedness?

    Oh, wait...you said "locks"...

    Right. Nevermind then.

The only reason that I post in "Off topic" is because there is no "Off colour" forum.

Come to think of it there is also no "Rubber chicken sporran discussion" forum. Why not?

Yes, yes, yes. That is all very well and good. We can talk about buttocks any time (and if the truth be told, that is all most of us talk about). But how often do we get the opportunity to get together and discuss chickens and wooden spools?

Wouldn't it be a terrible thing , in our old age, to tell our grandchildren we had the opportunity to discuss chickens (domestic and wild) and let it slip through our fingers just so we could talk about buttocks? Would they thank us? - I think not!

Regards and an affectionate 'cluck cluck'
