I like to extend pleats under the apron on the left side, I find it balances the ones that run under on the wrap on the right side. I'm a bit worried about my next endeavor since I want to do the RK version and it needs to be symetrical.

The RevK just needs to be symmetrical in appearance, I see no reason why you couldn't run extra pleats under the left side. You just need to have the same number of visible pleats from center back to apron edge on each side.

How many pleats do you put under the right side? My kilts just have the one deep pleat under the right side, and it's mostly hidden by the A-taper of apron anyway. Any rationale for putting more pleats under there? Inquiring minds and all that.
