    Sporran belt (contemporary of course!)

    Hey guys
Last week I was looking into getting a sporran leather belt for my sporran of course. I just wanted something to loo better with my kilt and casual dress. The belts were plain leather and cost around £20-30.
I'd thought I'd DIY one for a belt which cost me £2! and of course... those of you who know me even a tiny bit know I like to be traditional with my own twist so the belt is a wee bit contemporary - with diamond studs under the leather

P.S. I'm getting a couple more holes punched in the belt so the sporran sits up a bit more.

It only took me 20minutes or so to get it all done and I'm very pleased!

Here's a link to the original belt to prove it was £2:

and here's pictures of the belt once finished:

that's just a few staples and super glue on the lin (from my other sporran) which I attached to the belt and then to the clips of my spare sporran chain.

I'm pretty impressed with myself - even though it was very simple!

Good improvisation, Paul. My son and his girlfriend have just seen the site and are all over it now - spending money I haven't got.

    Regards

haha. Asos is great - their own brand is good quality for the price too. The sales just ended today but theyve still got a load of stuff reduced. I'll be able to give you a free next day delivery voucher code when I get home too - I have it written down
