OK, the day so far.
Started measuring and cutting at 08:00. Completely lost track of time and only realised how late it was when I started getting hungry.
I must say that Alan's instructions are super easy to follow. Did make one or two mistakes, but nothing a thread cutter couldn't fix.
I'm now stuck until further notice. Broke the damn sewing needle, and can't find a replacement. I'm busy stitching the pleats at the fell so hopefully I'll finish the kilt by tomorrow evening.
Anyway, Alan, I just have to say that you sir are a true gentleman. Letting us mere mortals in on the secrets of how to make decent kilts. Thank you.
