NYC got ten inches of rain in June. At least I was asked to bring some to San Diego, and I did! It poured for about five minutes on Monday morning.

Gods, I love Colorado... It didn't break 90 today, and it's nice and dry.

It's been a funny summer here in Cincinnati. I think we had about two weeks of really hot weather, but this July is shaping up to be nearly the coldest on record. A couple of days and evenings recently I've had to shut my windows because I was just too cold. Mornings have been in the mid-to-low 60's. I attended an evening outdoor concert last week and was comfortable in a tank and wool turtleneck sweater. Now I'm not complaining (much) - when I had my windows replaced earlier this year, I took out my two window AC units, and it's turned out to be a good year to have made that choice.

If you're getting a storm, I wonder if it's the one that blew through here early this morning. It was another cool, damp day here today.

    Regards,
    Rex.

It's a tad hotter here this summer. (100F again today). Extreme drought in mid and south Texas.

Can't don the UK this summer, as it's too heavy. Only light wool works. PVs and acrylics are a bit warm as well. I'm keeping my tank in the closet until October, at the earliest.

We in the Pacific Northwet have been scorching the past three days. In Eugene, it was 102 on Monday, 106 yesterday and 105 today. Not typical Oregon weather. I hear it's hotter near Portland. At least it's not humid - 25% today. Light kilts are what's in order for this weather. My UK Mocker did well yesterday and today I wore my CCK Nova Scotia 10oz.

I'm in my garage again wearing only one of my AmeriKilts.
The OD poly-cotton is lighter than the khaki cotton.

    Let me try something.
Wow. Just as comfortable in my AirKilt.
