Essentially, I shouldn't have moved the right side buckle in the first place... By doing so, I brought the outer apron too far around me, so that it tended to get caught in the pleats. I should merely have narrowed the outer apron the same amount that I moved the inner-apron belt-tab rightward. Hopefully, it will be done in time for the Glengarry Highland Games...
