I had some time before the walking tour so I did a hike up the Bruar Falls. What a treat that was. Especially enjoyable due all the sitting for the flight over and train trip to Pitlochry.

Rabbie had visited the Falls and wrote a poem on the experience.

We met in Blair Atholl to begin our walking tour. There was a good turnout including Chief Gilbert Struan Robertson, his son and wife and two children. And there was another kiltie!!!

We walked along the village water supply.

Ended our tour with a farewell to this big fellow.

That evening there was Homecoming Reception where I had a chance to chat with the Chief Gil and other members of the Clan Donnachaidh.

My mother was a Robertson and I am quite proud of that blood that flows through my veins. Here’s a link to a past thread.
