I was at the Games, the first time I have been to a Borders Gathering, it was superb, I thoroughly enjoyed a lecture from David R. Ross, his knowledge about Scottish History is stupendous, and his talk was enjoyable as well as informative due to his unique presenting style, if you haven't already heard Mr Ross speak, you should try to do so if given the opportunity.

Thanks for those, I enjoyed that. I'd planned to be there Alex but unfortunately work stepped in and ruined it all.

Agreed, Davie talks at a lot of our events and his talks are a amazing. His passion for Scotland and history knowledge is brilliant. If anyone would like any of his books i can buy them direct from Davie
