"Rebell Gratitude"
The following is a contemporary engraving entitled "Rebell Gratitude". It depicts the shooting of Captain Crosett, Engineer and ADC to Cumberland, by a Highland officer whose life had been spared.

I know its not a Penicuik sketch but since it is listed as a contemporary sketch from the era, I thought I'd post it for you. If I run into any other contemporary or eyewitness pieces I'll post them as well
