I have to admit I have never camped in my life, well not what many would call camping(!) - I like a proper bed and my creature comforts far too much. However, since I have been a full-time kilt wearer for over ten years now, I enjoy my kilts indoors or out, no matter what I am doing. Until recently I thoroughly enjoyed my country and coastal walks (sadly no longer possible) and it always seemed 'right' to be kilted in the open air. Indoor kilting does appear to conjur up thoughts of the more formal events, and therefore dress, on the whole but lounging around at home in the kilt is equally 'right' for me.
Take care,
Ham.
