UK with Tall Boots

I really like contemporary kilts and I think this kilt/boot combo are awesome. Panache is correct, the shirt is a bit conservative compared to the rest of the outfit.....but maybe that was the point? A more edgy shirt might have pushed the outfit a bit farther out into left field, and made the outfit only appropriate for certain situations. As it is now, the outfit is conservative enough to wear around any public place, and the boots give the outfit just enough "attitude." I dig it.

I think Rex dug it too... That's probably what matters anyway.

Before joining this site I had rather narrow ideas of what kilts were and who should wear them. Since joining this site I have actually opened my eyes completely. I do not own a comtemporary kilt as of today but hoping that changes in two weeks at the Ligonier Highland games. Rex's posting of his friend kilted just convinces me that I can do it! He looks grand and my wife agrees that the look is awesome. Not too sure about the shirt but it still is a great looking outfit. Thanks for the information about the belt.
