    Here's hard work for you!

    Caber.

I still can't turn the thing, but at least this time I was able to pick it up without help. Well, at least with minimal help anyway.

Here's right before I managed to throw it (not turn it mind you, just throw it)

Video shows how it's supposed to be done-this is Ian, he's the shortest guy that was there (not the smallest mind you, just the shortest). Alan kept trying to get him to take his shirt off and show his "6 pack". Never did happen. Sigh. Oh, well.

That's all for the throw party. Now I'm gonna go over and check out the Pleasanton Games pictures.

    Be well,

Wow, nice turn Ian. Thanks for posting the photos for us Starr. You folks out there on the west coast always seem to be having so much fun. I'm going to have to try to make it out to see you all sometime.

Where were you folks holding your "games"?

This was at one of the althetic fields at Stanford University (Alan works there). There were soccer players on the other field-it was amusing when they showed up, saw us throwing large metal objects, rocks and tree trunks and decided that the other field was a better choice !
