Many thanks to all for the favourable comments...

I really like the color of it & of your hose (almost a Hodden Grey color).
As Mr. Newsome noted further on, and you hinted at above, it is a LS Hodden Grey kilt & hose... and it is indeed a LS sporran that Mr. Newsome spotted as well.

The lighting prolly washed out the Hodden Grey a bit, and also makes it hard to notice the blue fringe down the right side...

I wholeheartedly agree re Panama & tie... although I usually reserve the Panama for weekend outtings/occasions. The second is perhaps my favourite also.. I prefer the darker colour contrast of the Gordon tartan w/ the grey Glen Plaid, and the blue/yellow tie brings it all nicely together, IMHO. Unfortunately due to the lighting, the yellow stripe is somewhat hard to discern..

And now for something completely different.. Here's another pic of something I wore at the beginning of Summer for a more Victorian themed occasion, but it's also one of my favourites for Summer weekend walkabouts & outtings, but usually sans badger, hose tops & spectators with plain brown sporran, khaki hose & brown Oxfords in lieu...

Perhaps a little challenging on the senses and not to everyone's taste, but this one is essentially guaranteed to garner a "quite dapper" compliment or few from POTS, and numerous double-takes to say the least...

On the left was at the event, and on the right before heading out the door..
