Here is a pic of my son in his kilt. He had gained a few pounds during the time between measurements and actually wrapping it around his butt. I had to move the apron buckles forward a little.
Part of the reason why I make leather buckle tabs rather than fabric.
Obviously, he is missing the other appurtenant accoutréments of kit, but that is forthcoming. I haven't got his sporran made yet, and he hasn't got a belt yet, but here it is, nonetheless.
Insofar as I had not yet moved the buckles when I took this pic, it hangs a little odd on him. We didn't have time to do another photoshoot, as he had to leave on Labor Day to get back to Hawai'i to be back at work on Tuesday, and we had a lot of other things to do.
I'll post pics of the "Campbell" kilt whenever the lad it is destined for gets his happy *** over to the hoose to pay for it.
