Chrystel and Robert’s daughters are intrigued by what the kilted gentleman has brought them.

Robert had posted a thread on my arrival that follows the one that Redshanks had posted previously when I arrived in the Argyll.

Chrystel fed us a marvelous home made pizza. The crust was to die for! Afterwards, Robert introduced me to a local custom of sharing the marvelous grolla!

After the alcohol is burned off the lid is placed on.



Robert tells me each thumb covers an adjacent hole which is used to drink from.



When it is passed to you, your thumbs cover the next set of holes. The draught!



Yes, that is mighty fine!



Robert and I end the evening with this delightful pear brandy. Robert tells me the pear actually grows inside the bottle through maturity.
