In First Contact, Picard unloads a Tommy Gun on a Borg and takes him down. I think you're .50 cal bullets would do just fine.

Want nasty? how about Saberhagens Berserker's? Or Herbert's Black Cloud? RAH had planet killers for ultimate weapons; Larry Niven took it one step farther in the Kitzti ( make Klingon's look like pussy cats) Wars with Star Killers (one bomb, one star, no problem) but the ultimate foe?

The most terrifying and all knowing creatures in the Universe?

    Not the Borg.....

    Not the Wraith....

    Not even the Sith.....

    its these guys

Tremble before the might of Frankie and Benjy Mouse!

Well, I don't know - the pan-dimensional beings commissioned the construction of a planet.
The Sith destroyed planets ... and I think they tried for a sun or two, too. Expanded universe, though - you have to read the books.

Remember - shoot once to stun, twice to kill, and three times to disintegrate!
(The writers are still kicking themselves about that one. )

Actually, was it not the commission of a pan-dimensional bypass that started the whole wrecking ball rolling? Destruction of the planet was just an unfortunate side effect....Now thats power!

Of course the Builders who were responsible for the Ring had to be a force to be reckoned with.....

Then again there are these guys.....................................be scared, be very, very scared........
