So my best guess would be:
osan dearg (stockings red)

or "Osanan dearg" if you were talking about two socks (osan dearg would be (one) red sock)

By the way, if you are tempted to add Boston to the phrase, (in Irish "Boston", scottish Gaelic may vary ) it goes at the end.
