Hi Robert
Well, if she's making one as a surprise for me  I am partial to the Irish county tartans. Yes I know how new they really are but Limerick County would still be on the top of my heap. Number two would be a tie between Culloden Muted - I've always wanted to see a kilt in that tartan and Caledonian New Old Colours. I have a kilt from House of Edgar in that tartan and the colors really are wonderful.
No matter the choice, I'm sure the kilt(s) will be stunning. We've come to expect nothing less from Lady Chrystal!

For my choice I would pick # 6, the Caledonian. I do like that tartan best of all.
I don't believe the idea is to arrive in heaven in a well preserved body! But to slide in side ways,Kilt A' Fly'n! Scream'en "Mon Wha A Ride" Kilted Santas

I already have a Caledonian Joly so I had to pick one of the others!

I, too, like Phil, am partial to the Irish County tartans. In fact I have two kilts made and fabric for two more. I also find the Irish tartans fabric to be better woven—perhaps because it is woven by only one mill.
