Edinburgh Gathering loses £600,000

Frankly, I don't think there was alot of money spent in the U.S. on publicity. If I did not post here or was not a member of the Houston Highland Games Association, I would have not known about it either. Word of mouth was the main avenue.

I picked up info in tourist offices and public places throughout the year. It was just a case of it catching your eye. Granted, I did have prior knowledge of it from the site, but it did stand out.
