Great site, thanks for the link even if you were spoofed at first. Especially like the one about Time Team website (geekette that I can be, on occasion).

Nursery staff spotted the abuse when the child, known only as ‘Girl McA’, spoke at daycare about the great empiricists, insisted on watching repeats of Balamory, and refused to sing nursery rhymes which did not go to the tune of Mull of Kintyre. They alerted the police, who arrested Mr Gascoigne immediately.
Sentencing, Judge Nesmyth said: ‘Had the nursery workers not called the authorities, I am convinced you would have allowed your daughter to wear a kilt and play the bagpipes. A custodial sentence is the only suitable punishment for such wickedness. Take him doon, laddies.’

Am i missing something? How is letting his dauhgter wear his sporran considered child abuse?
I think the subtitle "The news before it happens" is the clue.

Lol, just had to respond to the dog and horse picture with a real one...

Gus is the horse with his tongue hanging out.

The US version of the satirical newspaper is known as "The Onion". Irreverence is its motto. Nothing is sacred, although I doubt there have been many kilt or accessory related articles published in it. Many a howling good laugh hath been spawned in those pages, however.
