The difference in colors is the difference in what each MILL uses for their colors... some mills use a PURPLISH Navy blue while others use a BLUE Navy Blue.
In THIS case, you also have to factor in that the mill weaving the material made it for a women's dress and probably chose a more purplish shade of 'navy' and a more 'olive' shade of green for aesthetics, not necessarily for accuracy of the tartan.
