Wow, that's the first I've ever seen suspenders used with a kilt. How common is this? Great mudslides pictures by the way.

Thats what I like... a man who is young at heart!!.. love the Belly sliding... it shows you can never take life to serious!.. Its great seeing the XMarkers, I can't help but notice, they are some fine dressed gentlemen... and did I spy a ciggy in the lips of Jimmy Carbomb as he played the whistle?... lol.. now that is talent.. I really enjoy Barleyjuice.. they are one of my favorite groups! Thanks for the photos!

I also noted those tartan suspenders! While there's been discussion of suspenders/braces hidden under the waistcoat, I've seen only a few pics of them proudly on display. One of the "kilted Santas" was seen sporting them recently, IIRC. But these are the first I've seen in tartan.

Day 2 - Meadows Highland Games & Celtic Festival 2009 Pix
Sunday, was a much cooler and drier day with lots of sunshine. All necessary ingredients to dry up all the mud on the grounds.
Kim here with her son Aiden was the first Malcolm to come by. They are from California, visiting their in-laws here. She was very pleased to find a kinsman and learn some history of the clan.

It was a great day of having kinsman coming to the tent.
