Reminds me of an acquaintance, who decided to wear a kilt to a reenactment.
He asked his girlfriend (supposedly a wonderful seamstress) to sew him one up. And she did...
There was no "wrap around" to the apron: the ends of the kilt met. And, you guessed it, he put THAT to the front. Until a friend pointed out that a kilt IS supposed to still hide the wedding tackle...
